She's 1/2

Six months... Our lives have been transformed for six months. It is even beginning to feel normal. Juggling Reid while eating in a restaurant, waking up in the middle of the night to flip her over from her stomach, carrying her on my belly in a sling while shopping for groceries, and experiencing her non-stop arm flapping, screaming and raspberries - all of this is still magical, but it no longer feels as surreal as it once did. No one is going to come and take this kid back to her real home. We are parents.
Reid can flip from one side to the other, but she often can't do it when she wants to. She just got over a stomach virus - which she seems to have passed on to her parents. Some nights she still wakes up every hour. Paige says that it's a good night when it's only every 2 or 3 hours. It's a strange world where waking up every 2-3 hours is a good night of rest.
