It's one of our last holidays BC - before child. Appropriately, it's Independence Day. How independent will I be in a couple months? How independent am I now for that matter? Why do I care about this independence thing? Oh well, that little celebration fizzled out.
Today, Paige and I will be accepting delivery of The Glider and going to Lullaby Lane to pick up the rest of "the stuff" that we need for the wee child. It will be nice to have all of the major pieces in place. Hopefully, we will find some time to get to the movie theater this weekend - there are several good shows out right now. This afternoon, we will head to Sonoma to celebrate the holiday with The Schaefers - it will probably nice and sunny there. It will be nice to see a small-town version of the celebration - even if Sonoma isn't your typical small town.
It's one of our last three-day weekends. We'll make it count.
