Silent Nights? Hardly

First, it seems criminal that we haven't posted a single holiday photo. Yes, we did take many pictures of Reid and her relatives in Oklahoma. Yes, she looked very cute most of the time. I'll try to get some photos up soon.
Anyway, Reid still is having troubles taking a bottle at day-care. Twice a day Paige will get a call from Reid's caregivers, sprint across campus, grab the red-eyed screaming baby and feed her for half an hour. The night after one of these days Reid will wake up every hour and a half to eat. Luckily, Paige only works Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and sometimes the planets align and Reid will take from a bottle. Nonetheless, my genetic gift of high metabolism and constant appetite is coming back to haunt me.
Reid has begun laughing - okay, she's happily squealing, but we call it laughing. There is only one reliable way to make her laugh - get a dog excited about something. We hadn't heard her laugh more than once or twice when we noticed that she squealed every time that I kicked the ball to the neighbor's dog - she laughed at that for half an hour. I've gotten her to laugh at Dexter by filling treat toys and having her watch Dexter wag around trying to get his food. Good times. Good times.
So, we are still riding the waves of familial chaos, begging for more sleep and enjoying our squealing baby.
