The nursery

So, yeah... the nursery is probably "done."  Now, we just need the little munchkin to invade it - she doesn't spend much time in there now other than using the changing station at night.
The big quilt was made by Lisa Danker in Wellston, Oklahoma.  The smaller quilts are based off of those materials and made by two of Paige's lab mates: Marcy Diaz and Saskia Neher.  The little boy and girl were embroidered by my mother just before I was born.  The pigs are a print made by Paige's great uncle George Polk.  The carpet is made up of Flor tiles.  The changing table was given to us by Anita Sil and Joachim Li - the Sil-Li Family.  There's an antique chair from Paige's late great aunt.  The green chest is an old packing crate from Paige's great-grandfather Belt's clothing store.  Paige had it as a child, and she recovered it this summer.
There is a bunch of history and family here.  I love that.  Hopefully the kid(s) destroy it all with love.

The nursery looks amazing. I love the quilts and the mid century bookshelf/credenza.
