Twins' Room Finished

OK, it's been forever since we last posted and a lot has happened. I think everyone is aware that I am pregnant with twins. I am now at week 26. My goal was to have everything absolutely finished by week 20 since I had heard I would get large and immobile much earlier. In fact, I did have most things finished, but we have finally put the finishing touches on the twins' bedroom. We have co-opted the sunroom off our bedroom as the twins' bedroom. It is tight. In fact, to even get all of the furniture to fit, we had to make scale drawings of each piece of furniture and fit them on a scale drawing of the room. There ended up being only one orientation that would work! A big thank you to Kaye (Tyler's mom) for making all of the textiles (curtains, sheets, bedskirts). She is quite an impressive seamstress and quite gracious with her time and energy. We are very pleased with the results:) A monkey room for our two new little monkeys.
I should add that Reid is enjoying the room very much as well. She enjoys playing like she is a baby. Tyler rocks her, places her in the crib, and turns on the mobile. She thinks this is very fun. Hopefully the allure will wear off before the babies arrive.
