As Tyler indicated in an earlier post, Reid's birthday went on . . and on . . and on. The final party was at the end of August with all of Tyler and my friends. We decided this party was really for us, and we dubbed it the "We Survived" party. Nonetheless, we dressed Reid up in a pretty dress, Dana baked her not one but two impressive cakes, and there was even the required "Happy Birthday" singing and candle blowing segment. For interested parties - the cakes were a spiced carrot cake and a Colombian cake containing 2 cups of butter, 19 eggs, sherry soaked raisins and a whole lot of sugar. We'll let you guess which cake was for whom.
It was a wonderful ending to a wonderful year:)

They brought their camera and took all of these fantastic photos! I never even took my camera out of the bag. Plus they helped with the party setup when I was starting to pull my hair out:) They have proved themselves over and over again throughout the year as fantastic friends.
